SUMMARY
I tested a lot of changes on the clients site which turned into a conversation about redesigning their website. The client had the resources to design the pages but they wanted to learn more about the users that visit the product detail page.
DELIVERABLES
Usability testing
Qualitative data
Competitive analysis
Problem statement
Storytelling and stakeholder presentations
TOOLS
User Brain
Contentsquare
Google Analytics
GOALS
Usability testing: to understand what the users thoughts and feelings are about the current PDP - what they find helpful/what is missing.
Quantitative data: to understand how current users behave when they visit the PDP.
Problem statement: to provide the client with clear problem statements and optional solutions.
RESEARCH
Usability testing:
I defined the questions I wanted to ask the users based on the clients goals. I then built the usability test on User Brain ensuring there was an equal device split.
I conducted 8 usability tests which asked the user to review PDPs across 3 different womenswear websites.

Contensquare:
Quantitative data allowed me to uncover whether the problems users mentioned occurred for others and if there was anything we hadn't found through user testing.
FINDINGS & NEXT STEPS
Findings:
I found six problem statements from the user testing. The themes were surrounding:
Imagery
Reviews
Fit information
Recommendations
Availability
Device differences

Next steps:
A/B testing to address problems
Quick fixes
UX design team to work on low fidelity prototypes
